Financial Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst. This person will have a MS in Accounting or Taxation or related and one year of experience. Responsibilities include:

• Budgeting, Financial analysis, capital projections and ad hoc analysis.


• Participating in the strategic planning processes, Development of Financial models, Planning and directing projects in business valuation and managing staff, Analyze funding requirements, options and risks to formulate strategies , Review of Financial processes, assistance in preparation of accounts in accordance of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Coordinate annual external audit review of Financial records and organize complex data utilizing advanced MS Excel.

Qualified Person MUST have:

• MS in Accounting or Taxation or related,
• Minimum of 1 year accounting experience.
• Must be proficient in computers and Microsoft business software.

We are a local CPA firm in Houston. Our business plan calls for the size of the firm to double in the next 3-4 years. Our growth will come from the existing services and the leveraging of those services to our clients and targeting them to new clients. We understand that we have only two assets i.e. the clients and our staff.

We have been providing solutions, to clients for the last 20 years primarily in Texas, but also in a few other states, in three practice areas:

1) Audits, Reviews, Accounting, and
2) Tax Planning and preparation, other value added tax services, and
3) Business problem and dispute resolutions, business plans, and other general advisory services.
